The year 2 survey collected data about direct support professionals (DSPs) and frontline supervisors (FLSs) from calendar year 2019. Seventy-five organizations submitted a survey in year 2. This was 70% of the 107 organizations who were eligible to take the survey. Regional breakdowns were based on where the organization’s highest percentage of services were located. Of the 47 organizations, 27% of organizations provided their highest service percentage in the East region, 44% in the Middle region, and 29% in the West region.

2019 Survey Report

This report provides an overview of state level data. State and regional profiles are available in Appendix A. Survey items were analyzed by region when there was a large enough sample size for analysis. Unless otherwise specified, responses to survey questions reflect calendar year 2019. Most of the report focuses on the results from year 2. The last section of the report presents results about changes from year 1 to year 2. While there were 75 organizations that participated in the survey, not all organizations answered all questions.
