The year 1 survey collected data about direct support professionals (DSPs) from the calendar year 2018. 47 organizations submitted a survey in year 1. This was 49% of the 96 organizations who were eligible to take the survey. Regional breakdowns were based on where the organization’s highest percentage of services were located. Of the 47 organizations, 32% of organizations provided their highest service percentage in the East region, 45% in the Middle region, and 23% in the West region.
2018 Survey Report
This report provides an overview of state level data. State and regional profiles are available in Appendix A. Survey items were analyzed by region when there was a large enough sample size for analysis. Unless otherwise specified, responses to survey questions reflect calendar year 2018. While there were 47 organizations that participated in the survey, not all organizations answered all questions.
